A happy ending for an injured dog in Tay Township over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, a Husky wandered onto a property on Vasey Road with its face covered in porcupine quills.
The dog’s owner was unable to afford the emergency vet bill and Southern Georgian Bay OPP were called for help.
Officers coordinated with animal control, and the dog was taken to an emergency clinic in Barrie.
The Husky has received the care it needed, and is now in the process of being re-homed.
