The Hockey Operations of the Muskoka Bears have been remarkably busy over the last 5 months.
They have been travelling and signing players all over Ontario, as well as many local players, and the Bears staff have also been working hard led by President Dave Veitch who has been busy putting a preseason schedule together, that sees the bears having their first exhibition game in Gravenhurst on August 24th at 4 pm vs Orillia Terriers. Advance tickets are on sale at Frosty Pint in Gravenhurst, or 10$ cash at the door.
They then hit the road the next day Sunday, travelling to play defending Western conference champions and Ontario Ranked #3, Hanover Barons at 6pm in Ayton.Thursday Aug 29th, see the Bears travel to Midland for a 730pm game.
Further to that, the Exhibition schedule continues into the following weekend, where the Bears will host their first preseason game in 41 years, on Sat August 31st at 7pm versus Penetang Kings. Regular season opens at home, on Friday Sept 13th at 730 pm, vs defending Carruthers Division Champions Alliston Hornets.
