In celebration of the King’s coronation, the Town of Gravenhurst is displaying royal emerald green lighting at select locations.
“We send best wishes to His Majesty and thank him for his service,” Mayor Heidi Lorenz said.
Communities throughout the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth are featuring similar light displays.
In Canada, the Department of Canadian Heritage is leading the initiative.
The royal emerald green lighting is at the following locations:
- The Gravenhurst Train Station
- Town of Gravenhurst Municipal Office
- Gravenhurst Opera House
- Kinsmen Park
- Cockburn Square at Muskoka Wharf
