Nobody was injured, but fire crews were battling a blaze in Port Severn on Friday night.

At around 7 o’clock, Georgian Bay firefighters received a call to a cottage on Gloucester Pool Lake.

Residents in the area even helped crews fight the fire, which prevented it from spreading to other homes.
