Starting December 1 residents of Ramara will have access to Good Doctors Medical, telemedicine services with onsite nursing support at the Mara Medical Centre.

A township news release says the partnership will provide local access to medical services and support to health and wellness.

The Good Doctor Ramara Clinic is located at 3242 Ramara Road 47, and it will be open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents will have access to licensed physicians and medical services for non-urgent care, such as treatment for acute medical concerns, and chronic care management. Other services include the following:

-prescription refills;
-specialist referrals;
-pregnancy, urinalysis and strep testing and other diagnostic testing;
-administering injections;
-ear flushing;
-MTO Driver’s medical exams;
-tick bite removal;
-suture and staple removal, and
-telephone visits from home.
