Inclusive playground equipment is being installed at Kirby’s Beach Park in Bracebridge.
Located at 1010 Kirby’s Beach road, the park is an increasingly popular location for both residents and visitors alike and is used often for youth programs during the summer months.
The current playground has come to the end of its life cycle.
The new inclusive playground will include fully accessible rubberized surfacing, a play structure suitable for ages 1.5 – 12 years old, a rope net tower with slide and inclusive swing sets, and shade structures.
Work on the new playground should be completed by June 25th.
Due to safety concerns, the park’s playground area and Parking Lot 1 (closest to the park) are closed to the public during the installation work.
Patrons are asked to use Parking Lot 2 for their parking requirements.
