Public Wolf Howls at Algonquin Provincial Park for 2020 have been cancelled.

It’s due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its resulting restrictions.

When running, the expeditions usually startEd at the outdoor theatre for live presentations on wolf ecology and changing perceptions of the elusive animal, then participants would travel by car or walk to a place along Hwy 60 where wild wolves sometimes answer imitations by Naturalist staff.

Dates had been set this year prior to cancellation for August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th and September 3rd.

Organizers hope that the event(s) will return in 2021.
