An important Community Recognition Award was presented to a pair of well-known and well-loved Perry Township business owners on the weekend.
This past Saturday Phil and Katy Hope of Hope's Clover Farm grocery store in Novar received the award for their fantastic continued community involvement.
“The award is for the things they do above and beyond,” explains Graham Stetler, Perry Township's Fire Prevention Officer. “This his past Saturday we did a food drive and were able to park in their parking lot, for instance. They open up their doors to us and the community.”
“This award is to notice they are a large member of our community,” he continued. “Since they opened up, they've been a great help to many such as the Lions Club, Fire Department, Snowmobile Clubs. Basically, the whole community. If a family is having trouble like if a house burns down, they step right up. We can't possibly list everything they've done for the area.”
