A Sudbury company has been charged in connection with a dynamite blast at a construction site in Bracebridge last summer that damaged at least 15 homes on Kimberley Avenue.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour has charged Breaking Ground Drilling and Blasting Inc. as the employer for failing to ensure proper procedures and measures were carried out before the August 24th explosion.
A worker is also charged witih failing to work in compliance with regulations at the workplace.
The case will go to court in Bracebridge in October.
