A Brampton man has been identified as the winner of Canada’s largest lottery prize in history.
Adlin Lewis won the record-breaking $70 million jackpot in the Jan. 7 Lotto Max draw and says he is feeling "very, very blessed".
The 49-year-old married credit risk manager picked up his cheque for $70 million in Toronto on Monday.
As for what he’ll spend it on, Lewis says I'll be making some investments, taking many trips, enjoying life. Also, my wife has always wanted to try those VIP $100 slots in Las Vegas and now I can make that dream come true for her."
According to the OLG, Lewis has a reputation for being lucky. Two years ago, he won a car, and more recently, he won the first and second prizes in a workplace holiday draw.
