UPDATE: Charges Laid in Humboldt Bus Crash

The 29-year-old driver of transport truck was arrested in the deaths of 16 people, and injuring 13 others.

The RCMP in Saskatchewan have made an arrest in connection to the horrific bus crash that killed 16 members of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team.
 
The 29-year-old driver of the transport truck is charged with 16 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily death and 13 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
 
The announcement was made at a news conference Friday afternoon in Regina.
 
The bus was on its way to Nipawin for a playoff game when it collided with the transport truck at an intersection north of Tisdale back on April 6th.
 
13 others on the bus were injured.
